For my Final Portfolio, I decided to combine the themes of mythology, black fashion/streetwear, and photography. I utilized the people around me as a medium for these creations. I wanted to make something that was a part of me, art that when I looked at it, I would feel a personal connection. Using photographs I took of my friends was the perfect way to do this. Most of the inspiration for these came from my childhood and life around me, but the surrealism element was inspired by none other than Adeolu Osibodu.
